Construction Update #9

The day began with the plumber showing up early.  His goal was to hook up the sewer between the septic tank and the house and to connect the water from the well to the house.

The excavator came to help the plumber.  His job was to dig trenches and then close them up again.  We needed trenches for the sewer line and a trench for the water and electrical lines.

We also had the  heating and air condition guys on site.  They installed the registers and the duct work for heating and air conditioning inside house.

Our ever present construction crew was busy also.  They were the ones running the electrical main wire from the fuse box back to the power pole and laying it in the trench with the water pipe.

Mike and I were busy too.  I met with a saleswoman in Litchfield to finalize our flooring choices.  Mike helped the plumbers find the water line coming from the well to the shed.  They needed to tie the house water into it.  It was a productive day for all.
