Gardening, Cooking and more Gardening

I began the day with two refrigerator produce drawers full of large yellow squash and even larger zucchini.  My goal was to empty at least one drawer.  By the end of the morning I had used up six of the squash and all of the zucchini.

The zucchini was grated and used in two batches each of three different zucchini bread recipes.  I froze the results.  I am thinking we will have zucchini tastings throughout the summer with the various groups of overnight guests.  They will help me decide which recipe to keep for next summer.  We have the classic zucchini bread with 5000 likes on Allrecipes Online, Chocolate Zucchini Bread, and a healthy version of the classic zucchini bread recipe.  Which will be the favorite?

Late in the afternoon, Mike and I went out to the garden to plant the raspberry plant Emily gave me for my birthday.  While in the garden we decided to harvest the red potatoes as the plants were brown and hanging upside down over the sides of our two potato grow bags.  We ended up with approximately 11 pounds of large and very small red potatoes.  We know it is eleven pounds because Mike used his fishing scale to weigh the potatoes.

Now I need to find recipes for red potatoes.
