Snow 

I hesitate to write this blog because I know it is going to upset Heath.  He mentioned at Christmas that he had never seen snow.   Wouldn't you know it he missed the first winter snowfall by about a week.

This is what it looked like while Heath was visiting.
There was ice on the pond.  

First snow fall of the winter. 

The animals did not seem to be phased by the change in the weather.  Of course, the dogs had been in snow before but not the new chickens.  Even normal egg production continued.  

We will just have to hope Heath gets a chance to experience snow next Christmas.
