May Flowers

The April Showers May Flowers Virtual 100 mile run in 45 days is Complete.  Four of us received medals.  I went 160 miles in 45 days or 3.5 miles a day average.  Alysha walked 123 miles in 45 days or 2.7 miles per day average and Laura walked 108.73 miles in 45 days or 2.4 miles per day average.  Since both girls work full time and do other exercise activities that was very impressive.  Adam was very busy keeping bees during this time period and did not make the goal but received a medal anyway.  Maybe he will try again next year.

Suzanne sent my flowers for Mother's Day.  They came in a box.  The box included a vase and all the instructions for keeping the flowers alive for over a week.  I've never received flowers in a box before.  It worked out great and I have gotten many compliments on the arrangement.  The arrangement is still on my kitchen table and it has been 2 weeks since I received my box.  

My eye doctor's office gave me this arrangement.  I was in for my routine annual exam and as I was leaving they offered me this arrangement.  Seems they get a new arrangement every week and they give the old one to one lucky customer.  For some reason I was the lucky customer.  I must have been in the right place at the right time.  

Plans for Suzanne and Heath's wedding are progressing.  Apparently they have designed their own sunflower logo.  I like it.  I bought a metal sunflower sculpture to decorate the lawn for the wedding and keep with the theme.  Only three months away now.
