Working at the Pond

Just because Sela and Eli are here on vacation does not mean that they get by without doing chores.  Sela collects eggs everyday.  Sometimes the chickens are happy to see her and other times not so much.  Eli feeds the dogs.  At first he was Mike's right hand man at that job but they other day when Mike hurt his back Eli actually took over.  He really liked that partially because he got to order Laura his right hand man around.

Their other important jobs are to help get ready for the wedding.  They have been very gracious about giving of their time in this regard.  First off they have been testing the blob nearly on a daily basis.

Then Heath sent a giant jingo set.  It will be part of the after wedding activities.  The kids checked it over for scratches and stuff.  Then they checked for how tall it could go.  Then they checked out how to knock it down.  Actually playing a game will result in it falling down but so will a bow and arrow.  

Even Andy has not escaped wedding chores.  He has been cleaning the pond using Mike's new big rake.  There are piles of coon tail grass piled all over the pond edges.  Thanks so much for all your help Spilsbury's!
