Due to complications with a back injury, Gracie passed away
a few days after Christmas. Perhaps I am biased, but in my opinion Gracie was
the sweetest dog in the world. She had an adventurous spirit and a kind soul.
We adopted Gracie when she was just a tiny baby. The vet
asked us if we wanted to keep her even though she had an overbite. Who could
get rid of that adorable face?!

In The Woodlands, Gracie enjoyed trick-or-treating, going on
walks, and even going to church with us once in a while.

When
we brought home Frankie as a puppy, Gracie immediately bonded with him and
welcomed him to the pack (others… such as Mabel… were not so pleased with him
at first). Gracie loved him so much she wanted to be his mother.
Gracie was equal part farm dog and lap dog. Her ultimate
passion in life was to snuggle with people. If a lap was available, she wanted
to sit in it.

I don’t think anyone had a bad word to say about Gracie. Mom
even gave her special treatment and let her into the living room on her fancy
couch! She was a sweetheart who will always be missed.
We love you Gracie.

Oh that's so sad. She had the sweetest expression in her eyes. This is a lovely tribute.
