Snow

A winter storm came through and dropped six inches of snow.  It occurred just before Suzanne and Heath returned from Florida.  Heath did not let that bother him though.  He planned to make sure that he enjoyed his very first snowfall. 

While Mike and I were busy at the pond, (Mike was shoveling our sidewalks and I was out photographing nature), Heath, Suzanne and Laura were sledding in St. Louis.  Of course, Laura had no sled equipment so they had to improvise.  They used her tupperware lids instead. 

Eventually, Suzanne and Heath left St. Louis to return to the pond.  Of course, prior to leaving, Heath had to dig his car out of the snow. 

Once Suzanne and Heath arrived at the pond and saw that all was well with their animals, Heath built Finn his first snowman.  

With the possible exception of Suzanne (who has suddenly started talking about her retirement to Florida), everyone enjoyed the snow.
