Halloween 2019
Mike, Frankie and myself were not the only ones to dress for Halloween this year. We were just the first.
On Halloween night, Mike and I gave away 4 bags of candy. Of course, it was to just two kids from the same family. In other words, the doorbell rang once. Still we had fun.
Emily had so many social obligations that she had two Halloween costumes and apparently the opportunities to wear them both.
Suzanne and Heath held a Halloween gathering at their house a week or so before Halloween. That put a lot of pressure on Suzanne to design her yard decorations and her home Halloween decor and then there was pressure on Heath to implement both. He also was under pressure to design a huge dog proof gate for the top of their stairs so trick or treaters would not be greeted by overly excited dogs when the door opened. Suzanne and Heath still found time to create their costumes and dress up.
Laura's costume was very appropriate (she loves diet Coke) and flexible enough in which to exercise. Very resourceful.
The younger Spilsbury's handled making their own costumes this year. Eli and his friends went as WalMart employees complete with their own name badges and Sela was a character from Wreck It Ralph.
I am so proud to be a part of such a creative family.
