1992

Suzanne was born in 1992.  Her birthday was last week so that became the theme for her party.  I researched some facts from that year, found a poster and found a quiz.  My table decorations were even clues to the answers on the quiz. 

We had the party at Heath and Suzanne's house.  Heath made us breakfast burritos for dinner and I provided the dessert.  Since Suzanne is our baker this was hard.  When they moved here she took over baking all the birthday desserts.  I decided not to compete with her expert baking and bought a cranberry apple pie from the new local bakery.  Laura was unimpressed with this idea when I told her so I added homemade fudge, peanut butter cup cookies and citrus cranberry shortbread to the dessert list.  It looked like everybody was satisfied. 

Mike and I got her birthday presents she could use in her kitchen with baking.  She liked them but I was glad she opened them first because then she opened Caitlin's gift.  It was a Furbo Dog Camera.  It feeds treats to your dogs and takes pictures of them all while you are not there.  This was a very exciting gift.  Suzanne has been sending us Furbo photos of her animals ever since. 

We had a fun time and it was nice to see all the decorations including the giant tree at Suzanne and Heath's house.  The dogs had a good time too.
