Busy day 

Today was a busy day at the pond.

Emily and I went to town.
We checked on the pig at Buckheits.
She is getting bigger.

Emily also checked out how the ducks were doing at Buckheits.

The construction crew left me in charge for a few minutes.
This is taken from the back yard.
They began framing the basement today and
received a delivery of cement blocks to use on the outside of the house.
The brick will be laid on these blocks.
Note:  they have not cut out the windows in the basement.  

Mike installed two Basset Hound Crossing signs next to the road between our
property and his parents.
Since Mabel occasionally goes to visit Frank and Lois without our permission we wanted to give
drivers a warning of what to expect.
