Skating with no skates

Every time Mike and I go for a walk he manages to get onto the icy pond to check if it is safe to walk on it.  Today he either decided it was safe enough or he decided with the warm spell forecasted it was now or never.

Mike and the girls went to play on the pond while I was running errands in town. Here are the pictures they took to show me what they were doing.

Here is what they were doing by the time I got back from town.  

They were skating towards each other and trying to knock the other person down on the ice.  

Even the dogs got into the act.
