Construction Update #5

I made it into our basement today.  I don't think I have been down there for about three weeks.  Once they began framing the main floor I couldn't see what was going on in the basement unless I actually went down there.  To do that I had two options.  I could either climb a ladder straight down or walk all the way around from the front of the house to the back in the mud.  I elected to wait for a stairway.

They finished the stairway to the basement yesterday.
Even the dogs like it.
The little dogs wouldn't use the stairway in our old house.

Mike standing in the spot where his la-z-boy recliner is going to be placed.
He will be able to swivel and look out the window or face forward and watch his big screen television.
Glad we have the important stuff all figured out.
