Construction Update #13

We are waiting on the insulators to spray cellulose insulation into all the outside walls.  To do this, they need to have access to water that is not frozen.  So they are waiting for warmer weather.  Mike and I thought yesterday and today would have qualified as warmer weather but they didn't show up.  So now we are told they should be here sometime next week.  I'm hoping for Monday or Tuesday.  Mike is afraid it won't be until Friday.

In the meantime, all that can be done has been done.  The drywallers were here today to finish the ceiling in the basement.  The plumber has been here twice and the heating and air conditioning guys have been here all three days this week.  Mike says it looks very high tech in our basement.  All due to the geothermal unit.

The bed for the guest room was delivered this week.  It is in our shed garage.  Mike keeps trying to stall Lowe's on the delivery of our appliances.  I hope he is successful because once they are delivered and stored in the shed garage I will have to park my car outside.

And so we wait....
