Emily's Spring Break

Emily is on spring break.  She went and visited her friends Laura and Jessica Flannery at Grinnell College in Iowa for a few days, but she has been here at the farm since Monday.  Shown below are some of the highlights from her visit thus far.

He made sure to show her his innovative plan for hiding but still being able to access TV and cable wires.
The dry wall guy was really impressed with this idea and is going to put it in the house he is building.   

Emily helped her father and mother plant seed potatoes in grow bags.  

Emily is in training for a half marathon.
She planned to run 9 miles this morning.  Mike even mapped out a route for her so she wouldn't get lost.
She didn't get lost but she did get tired.

The good news is that she found some Levi jeans that fit perfectly.
The bad news is that she didn't convince her mother to buy any baby chicks.

That is why she is still smiling.
