Hints of Spring

Pebbles is very old for a dog.  We have gotten in the habit of making her life easier by carrying her outside when she needs to go out.  The other day while I was outside waiting on her I noticed to pieces of a broken tag on the ground.

I love day lilies.  I always planted them in Houston but I have been

focused on vegetables here in Illinois and haven't planted any flowers.  

At least I don't think I have.  

So then I started looking around the porch at the landscaping that was added last November.  

I think there is a day lily coming up.
So far I have found two other plants just like it.
What a nice surprise from my landscapers.  

Speaking of my landscapers, I actually see grass coming up in the yard.  Depending on where you stand it can looks very full.  

Mike is actually starting to talk about getting a lawnmower.  

Then today Mike walked into the new house and found this.  Maybe they will finish this house this spring after all.  

Paint!!  This is the primer for all the walls and the Dover white color for the ceilings.
They need to texture the ceilings before painting.  That would take
a couple of days.  So they may start painting as early as next week.
