Busy Bricklayers

The bricklayers have been busy.  They now have two jobs.  They have to continue with the bricking of the outside of the house and they have to put stone on the face of our fireplace.

On Friday, the bricklayer foreman asked Mike if he could use our RZR to move the cement mortar mixer out of the mud in the back yard (where it has been stuck) to the front yard before any Monday's rain projected rainfall.
Mike was happy to oblige.  

On Monday morning it was raining but the bricklayers were able to work inside.
They installed wire around the framed in fireplace and then troweled on mortar.
By the time they were done with these steps the sun had come out.
The bricklayers moved outside.  

Here is a picture of the back of the house at dusk.
As of this afternoon, all the brick has been installed on the back of the house.
Only three more sides to go.
