First Party in New House

Mike and I moved our furniture and belongings out of storage and into our new house on Friday, June 5. Exactly one week later, we had our first party.  It was a bridal shower brunch.  A close friend of Laura's is getting married in another week so this was the very best time we could find to hold her bridal shower.

Of course, Mike and I live in the middle of nowhere as Taylor said when she arrived from Springfield Missouri on Thursday morning.  So all the guests, except Grandma who lives across the street, had to spend the night in order to attend the shower.  Still we made it a classy affair by serving mimosa's in champagne glasses and decorating with fresh flowers and my best china.  If I do say so myself, a good time was had by all.
