Getting Ready for Visitors

Emily had some friends coming over the Fourth of July weekend and we needed to get ready for them.  But since they are Emily's friends, Mike and I felt she should be present for the preparations.  She arrived Thursday night and bright and early Friday morning she was out at the pond.

The first order of business was to put more air in the AquaGlide water trampoline.  When Laura was here with her friends a few weeks earlier, they noticed that it was very soft even in 90 degree weather.  So Emily unhooked the Aquaglide from the WaterMat and Mike towed it to shore.  There they refilled the AquaGlide and looked for leaks.  We couldn't find any so we overfilled it in hopes it would hold.  (Which it did.) Then the process was reversed.

After that Emily had to rescue the kayaks which had been floating free since a rainstorm a few weeks ago.  One kayak was by the dam and the other kayak was by the Y.  Once all that was done we were ready for a great Fourth of July weekend.
