Mostly Successful Fishing

Over the Fourth of July weekend, there was a lot of fishing happening here at the pond.  For the most part, everyone caught something... with one glaring exception.

Spencer caught a bass the first night they were here and managed
to hold onto it despite Gracie's overenthusiastic involvement in the process.

All in all, Spencer caught the most fish (about 20).
Of course, he spent the most time at it including fishing from the boat.
He caught mostly bass and blue gill - no catfish.  

Dana bought a fishing pole especially for this weekend.
She had good luck with it (and occasionnal help from Spencer) to get 4 fish total.
She got two bass, one blue gill and a catfish.  

Newlyweds, Megan and Braden (see picture below) reported their results as a team.
They caught about 10 fish in total - mainly blue gill and catfish.  

Braden caught the largest catfish ever - a five pounder.  

And despite Buddy joining the fisher people every time he saw them out at the pond,
he still hasn't caught even one fish.  

His modus operandi is to stand under the dock motionless and watch those fish but even when they jump in
front of him, he never catches a one.
