How many trips does it take to landscape the front yard?

As I mentioned before, Dale arrived to landscape the yard the other day and just as he got here it started to rain- a rain that was not in the forecast.   He hung around until it stopped raining and managed to install the downspouts and work over the dirt with his Ditch Witch.  This was on Friday. He left us with some homework.  We were instructed to remove some large weeds and bricks in areas he thought ought to be landscaped but we were in no hurry to do this as we didn't expect him back very soon.

However on Tuesday he came back.  We were overjoyed to see him.  He told Mike he wanted to get our grass seed planted so that it would have ample time to grow before the cold weather.  As for the actual plants for the flower beds that work would have to be postponed until there was another break in Dale's schedule.  Just as he was ready to plant our grass seed, he encountered technical difficulties.  His equipment was broken.  So we ended up with very little to show for Dale's second visit to our property.

Today Dale sent his team with grass seed, the Ditch Witch and all our plants.  I guess they are as ready as we are to complete this job.  They were able to layout the flower beds, drop bushes and flowers into the ground and plant the grass seed.  Unfortunately, they were not able to finish.  We need rock in the flower beds and straw placed over the grass seed.  Maybe tomorrow?
