Signs of Fall

Pumpkin displays abound.
This one is in front of my shed but I like the ones at my local produce stand as well.  

Temperatures are cooler and we spend more time outside.  

The corn stalks turn brown.
Harvest time is near.  

The Monarch Butterfly (Illinois State Insect) begins migration.
This butterfly was resting on my balcony railing.  

Set up for the Woburn Christmas Light Display begins.
One man takes two months to set up 30 display boxes all around his house and yard for Christmas.
He uses about 50,000 lights.
