Spur of the Moment Concrete Work

Mike called Wade our concrete guy the other day to tell him we wanted to put in a concrete pad off the basement.  We also wanted to add a step onto our front entry before someone hurt themselves.  We expected to be added to his waiting list but much to our surprise he said he would come the next day.  And he did.  He actually got to work before we were even up.  Buddy and Little Girl got so excited they knocked off the dog door cover and went outside to greet them.  (This was right before we started making them sleep in dog cages.)

Much to Mike's surprise they actually drove the concrete truck all the way to the back of the house.  

Before the concrete guy left, he also poured a new front step.
