You know it is the End of Summer when...
The annual August Spilsbury visit is over.
The AquaGlide and WaterMat are removed from the pond for another year. We have a trained team to handle this procedure. It is Mike, Emily, Dana (Emily's roommate) and Laura.
My pumpkins are harvested.*
*This is actually not suppose to happen until October but this year I had to bring them in on August 31. They were ready. I don't know how I messed that up.

It's the saddest time of the year. I'll miss all you folks jumping and crawling and laying all over me. Thanks for taking good care of me. See you in 2016!
