December Lights

It is December 6 and, as far as I am concerned, it is six days late for Christmas lights.  However, my co-residential lighting decorator, Mike, doesn't believe in putting up any Christmas lights.  So we compromised and decorated just the shed today.  We outlined the shed with Christmas lights and added some to the pine tree that was in front of the shed.  On the ground, we added a string of lighted candy canes around the landscaping and placed a lighted dachshund Santa dog yard decoration.

As much as I enjoy all these Christmas lights, I think this picture taken from our balcony showing today's sunrise is an even better December lighting display than the one Mike and I put up.  Of course, I'm not going to tell him this until after I convince him to add some lights to the new house.
