While Waiting 

While waiting for the puppy to arrive this coming weekend, Emily and Mike have tried to keep themselves busy and distracted.

Last night it snowed and the pond froze over so
Mike and Emily decided to take the dogs for a walk thru the timber.  

This is what happened when I told them to do something blog worthy on their walk.
Mike walked out on the ice for a photo op and Emily suggested it would make for a better picture if he would
walk out further on the ice. 

After Mike and Emily returned from their walk, they decided to go into town.  Of course Mike had to change into dry clothes and then take his wet boots over to Frank and Lois's to dry on their boot dryer.  They then went out to lunch at the Huddle House but stopped at McDonalds to pick up something for me.  I don't usually eat at McDonalds but they are selling mozzarella sticks now.  So Mike bought me some to try.  They were pretty good.

Now Emily has planned a double feature movie night in the basement with movies she rented while in town to day.  According to Mike there are 2 days 15 hours 30 minutes and 6 seconds remaining until he and Emily go pick up the new puppy.  See his countdown screen below.  I hate to say it but I don't know if I can wait that long.
