Scenes of February
We have been seeing geese on the pond this month. The first time I spotted them and there were only two. One was white and one was brown. It was such an unusual sight that Mike ran to the chicken coop to make sure our two ducks had not become escapees. They had not.
Then the other day Mike spotted this group. While he was outside taking photos of the geese, I spotted the red fox on the far bank. Fortunately the geese had enough sense not to leave the water.
This morning Mike and I were early to church. We watched as the organist arrived with her six month old son Isaac. Isaac played baby Jesus in December when Mike and I played the parts of Joseph and Mary. He got pretty fed up with us by the end of that performance. Still we really like Isaac although I wasn't sure the same could be said on his part.
Apparently however, he is willing to let bygones be bygones. His mother brought him over to us before the service and asked if we would watch him during the service as her husband was out of town and their was no nursery. Of course, we said yes. I snapped this picture as proof that he is no longer upset with us. At least, he is no longer upset with Mike. Since I never go to hold him the entire hour long service, I guess I can't say for sure that Isaac has forgiven me.
