Mike's Shadows

Warmer weather is here and Mike has been outside more.  He thinks it is spring but I refuse to acknowledge that until after March twenty first at least.  Looking through the pictures I have taken of him this past week I notice that he is never alone.

On Monday, Hunter came over after preschool.

He and Mike took the dogs through the timber.

On Tuesday, Mike tested out our new tiller.  Notice who is following him this time.

On Saturday, Mike began the project of fixing up our backyard.
We'd really like to get some grass planted there so the dirt quits making its way into the house.
Frankie wasn't sure about that shovel.

On Sunday, Mike took the dogs for a walk through the timber and he picked up another shadow.  He was walking near the dam when he heard an unidentified rustling noise.  If Mike stopped, it stopped.  If Mike began walking after a few moments it would begin.  Turns out he and our red fox had crossed paths.  Mike finally got a glimpse of him.  He says the fox was beautiful.
