Storm

We had a memorable storm last Wednesday.  I was at my quilting class so Mike and the dogs were home alone when the storm hit.  The high wind only lasted twenty minutes or so but things sure looked different afterwards.

During the storm the wind blew the blaster onto the dam.  

After the storm the water mat was the only part that was on the dam.  

When even lost a few of the world's tallest sunflower plants.  

A lot of the area was without power for awhile but not us.  However, when I looked at the local paper the following day I could see that a lot of big trees had been knocked down in the surrounding area and a silo!  

I would say Mike and I faired pretty well through this storm.
