Cubs
After watching a night game at Wrigley Field, the four of us (Mike, Bill, Emily and I) checked into a hotel a miles walk from the ball park. We needed a good nights sleep to be ready for the next day's game.

Our seats for the day game were assigned. They were also in the shade so I was very happy. Nevertheless, Emily and I wanted to get there when the gates opened (two hours before) because the day's freebie was floppy hats and we wanted one. So once again we walked a mile to the ballpark and waited in line. This time Bill and Mike got smart and refused to power walk with us. They took their time, entered the park about a half an hour after we did and still managed to get floppy hats. Whatever.

The day game began with a patriotic parachute jump by some US Navy Seals. Then we preceded to have a nail biter of a game (at least for my group) but the Cubs won. I can say with certainty that a fun time was had by all.
