Industrious Weekend

The Peterson's had many obligations this weekend.

Mike, nearly single handedly, installed a new flat screen television in the Sanctuary.

Emily used up all my remaining home grown potatoes so I wouldn't have to.

Laura felt she had a social obligation to show up to a school fun run.
She says they are all excited here because they are nearing the finish line but I think it has
something to do with the fact that she went to IHOP for breakfast and she
knows this group is going out to lunch right after they finish.

I made this Halloween decoration for my home.
I hand glued each of these wiggly eyes to this wood form.

Mike and I joined the confirmation group from the church when they
went to Springfield to participate in a service project for Kumler Outreach Ministries.
While we were searching for the address we passed the Edwards Place.  This is the
home of Mary Todd Lincoln's sister and brother-in-law.  Mary and Abe's courting
couch is located here although they did not actually court in this house.

On Sunday, my Sunday School kids and I counted coins from our coin drive.
We used a coin counting machine at the beginning of the Sunday School hour to
sort the coins but by the end of the hour we were counting by hand.
The machine was no longer working.
