What Emily Missed

Emily surprised her family this weekend by dropping in for a visit.  I hate to complain but it was a very short visit.  She arrived about seven pm on Saturday night and left at 9 am Sunday morning.  As best we can determine, the reason for the visit was to pick up the sleeping bags she needs for an upcoming camping trip and to visit Frankie the dog.

As I said I hate to complain but Emily missed out on a lot of activities this weekend including a visit to Wally's as mentioned in yesterdays blog post.  She also missed all of the following:

Seeing the camel at Buchheit's

Attending the 25th annual Greenville Apple Festival

apples to make apple butter and apple cider to make Chai Apple Cider.

Picking out the family pumpkin from Randy's Country Barn
which is also where we get our Christmas tree.
