Lois's (and Frankie's) Birthday Party

We celebrated Lois's birthday early this year.  We had a dot theme.  We had dot napkins, dotted mechanical pencils as party favors and dots on the birthday cake.  We had homemade pepperoni pizza (dots on dots) on the menu.  It was a very well coordinated party if I do say so myself.  Then Emily changed it.

Emily wanted us to also celebrate Frankie (our dog) November 21st birthday too.  Frankie will be one year old in people years.  So I adapted.  We added pupcorn (also known as popcorn) as a favor and added Frankie's name to the cake.  Laura created a dog 'You are special today' plate so that he would not feel slighted that Lois had one.  We also served hot 'dogs' although not to the dog guest of honor.  Everything worked out fine although I had to explain the pupcorn.  Both guests of honor seemed to have a good time and enjoyed their presents.
