Winter Visitor Activities at the Pond

Laura Flannery visited the Peterson's for four days.  Emily Peterson was her activity director.  I'd say Emily did a good job.

They kayaked, rode the four wheeler, fed the chickens, made two crafts (thanks to the assistant activity director -me), baked Laura's favorite cookies (cowboy cookies), saw an eagle, decorated a Christmas tree, fought over the turkey wishbone, and climbed an outdoor tree.  We also introduced Laura to the wonders of hot Krispy Kreme donuts, saw a movie at the Globe Theater (in Greenville not England) and attended a craft fair.

I am hopeful Laura Flannery will return next year and maybe even bring her sisters with her.
