Christmas 2016

We had fifteen people to an early afternoon meal on Christmas.  It involved everyone in our family including Heath to pull it off.  Nevertheless, we still managed to have plenty of time to open our gifts.

The gift giving began on Christmas Eve when we exchanged our 'Sock Gifts'.  Each person drew a name and gave the recipient a pair of socks with $10 worth of gifts inside.

That was the fun part of the evening.  The exciting part occurred on our way to church for the Christmas Eve service.  That is when Laura got her car stuck in our driveway.  We left it there and went to church and then stopped to see the Woburn Christmas lights on the way home.  When we got home Suzanne fortified us with mulled wine and then the group moved outside to figure out how to move the car.  In the end, Mike hooked it to the truck and pulled it out.

to be continued...
