More Wedding Help

Heath mentioned that he was thinking of having a s'more bar at the wedding.  Laura and I read about how the Budweiser Brewery had a free Holiday Light Walking Tour that included hot chocolate and s'mores.  We talked Emily and Mike into going with us but we omitted the fact that it was a walking tour.  We did not do this on purpose but they were not happy when they found out.  So with two of us dressed warmer than the others, we went to check it out.

We had a hard time parking which at least was a good sign that it was popular.  The event provided a limited number of free beer samples and a holiday market, a wood carver, a sand sculpturer as well as the food previously mentioned.  We had to pay for the food and we bypassed the beer as there was a huge line to get the beer passes.  The lights were very pretty and there were fire pits scattered around for s'more making.

To make the s'mores you had to buy a dowel rod and a ziplock bag of s'more makings- one graham cracker broken in two, one marshmallow and one fourth of a Hershey chocolate bar.  It took us awhile to find the s'more kiosk as she had moved inside for the night it was so cold.

The sacrifices one must make in the interests of wedding planning research.
