Construction Artists

As the work progressed on Morton Building Number 2, Mike and I could see the construction guys spending a lot of time walking between Building Number 1 and Building Number 2.  They finally told us what was happening.  They had realized that our intent was to have both buildings look exactly alike.  However, this was not feasible with the building material they had been given.  The new windows did not have any grill bars and all the trim for the new doors was red instead of white.  As a result, we have a two week delay on the completion of the building.

In the meantime, they went as far as they could.

On Friday, they continued to add siding.

By the Friday's end, most of the siding was on but none of the roofing.  

Bright and early Saturday, work on the roof began.  

After lunch the turkey tails were added and...

the cupola.  

Now we have four 'buildings' where we only had two.
