Around the Pond

Scene One

Mike bought a salt block to put across the pond from our backyard.  That way we can watch our deer from the comfort of our own home.  Although it may have been a waste of $12.99.  Just today Mike had three deer cross right in front of him on our walking path through the timber and he saw a fox standing right in front of the large doors of Morton Building #2.

Scene Two

Another sunset on Snow Cemetery Avenue.

Scene Three

I was cleaning out the chicken coop and when I turned around I could see Mike on a ladder over at MB2.  I went to investigate and found him installing a motion sensor light over the front doors.  This will come in handy especially during the winter months when it gets dark so early.  This light is actually how Mike was able to spot the fox.

Scene Four

Once Mike finished installing the light on MB2, I headed back to the house and noticed the sunset through the trees.

Scene Five

We finally have some ice on the pond although it does not go all the way across the water and it is no where deep enough to walk on.  Today I waited for the sun to shine through the clouds and tried to get a picture of the light reflecting off the ice.
