Emily's visit

Emily will be visiting with us for four weeks.  Here are some of her activities the first week of her college break.

She put up the outside Christmas decorations.
Funny thing, it is two weeks after Christmas and they are still up.
I wonder who is going to take them down?

Emily spent a lot of time in the kitchen.

She did most of our Christmas baking....

and made Laura and I some delicious and healthy home cooked meals.

She also had time for some fun.
Here Emily is making a snow ball in some fresh snow with a snow ball maker
Aunt Kathy provided during her twelve days of Christmas.
That Aunt Kathy is amazing.
Emily opened this present on the very morning we had fresh snow.

Unfortunately for Mike, I did not realize that his twelve days of Christmas
present from Aunt Kathy that particular day was also a snow ball maker.
Since he had not yet opened his present he was at a distinct disadvantage
during this snow ball fight.

Laura and Emily saw a fox find his dinner from our kitchen window.
They later went out to investigate the sight where they saw this drama.
Emily seemed to be enjoying her first week with us and we were enjoying her company.  Then the incident occurred.  Stay tuned.
