Graduation

For approximately 23 years, May in this household has always been associated with end of the school year.  But this year, we only had one child left in school.  That was Emily and she was in grad school at Berkeley.  I was able to attend her graduation and celebrate with her.

Here is my version of a Where's Waldo picture.
Can you find Emily?  She is not looking my way.
This was taken on her way back to her seat after receiving her diploma.
She had her tassel on the left side of her hat.

Mom and Emily celebrating at the Engineering reception after the graduation ceremony.

Fortunately, there were also professional photographers available to take pictures at this important occasion.

One of the reasons this group looks so happy is that they can finally catch up on their sleep.  This program was only one year and they all worked hard to complete it.  Congratulations graduates!!!
