Caitlin's Birthday Party
Caitlin's birthday occurred while she was visiting the pond. So we had a celebration while she was here. The theme was 'Nail Polish' as I remembered that when visiting her house I had never seen so many bottles of nail polish outside of a store.
She had her first inkling that she was having a party either when Suzanne told her or when she was driven up our driveway. We used the easel chalkboard signs leftover from the wedding and wrote Happy Birthday Caitlin and directed our visitors to the party area.
Prior to the party, we kept Caitlin busy in the house with Heath. She supervised Heath making the guacamole for our taco lunch while Suzanne was over in the shed apartment making a raspberry sauce for her chocolate cheese cake.
After lunch, our guests had a fun afternoon enjoying activities at the pond. This included stand up paddling boarding with Frankie, peddle boat riding, riding in the RZR, fishing, feeding the fish and of course relaxing.
I did not ask her but I think I can safely say that Caitlin never had a birthday party quite like this one. This one was unique.

No one can put together a party like you Peterson girls! Such a fun theme and creative details. Who made those cookies? It's so kind of you to throw this for Caitlin, Kim and Suzanne. She'll always remember her amazing 27th birthday party at the pond!
