Father's Day

We celebrated Father's Day at the pond.  We had two father's to celebrate as my brother Andy was visiting with two of his children, Sela and Eli.

While I was at church with Mike, Laura and the kids began the party prep.  It was a good thing too because by the time I got home Suzanne and Heath were there and all five of them went to play in the pond.  Before they started playing though they finished the dessert cupcakes and created the ties for the root beer bottles that were also table decorations.

I prepared the Father's Day meal but I had to have some help as it got closer to the dinner deadline.  Both father's pitched in.

The dinner menu was popular.  My guests did not even want to stop eating to have their pictures taken.

After dinner we played a game.  We played 'Who knows Father Best?'  Each child tried to match their answers to their father's and I tried to see how well I knew Mike.  Laura's answers matched Mike's the most times and Sela matched her dad's the most.

Definitely a day worthy of celebrating with firework cupcakes!
