Nearly Up and Running

Our Solar Panels were installed earlier but were not operational.  The Southern Illinois Solar Company needed to come back, dig a trench and put wiring in the ground between the electrical box and the panels.  This they did so promptly that I did not even get a picture of it. 

Then they hooked it up and tested it out.  It worked but we could not use electricity from it until our electric coop partner came for a visit. 

While we were waiting Mike decided to take some nearby small trees down in case the grew large enough to block the sunlight from hitting the panels. 

It took some more paperwork but finally we had Southwest Electric scheduled for a hook up date.
