Lois 86th Birthday

We celebrated Lois's birthday on Sunday.  We had a pizza party.  The table cloth was red and white checked.  We had pizza flavored goldfish in little white pails as favors and there were wooden cooking utensils hanging from the chandelier over the table.  The best part besides the company was the food.

We had pizza from Joe's Pizza in Greenville and Laura brought us a cake from St. Louis.  The cake had yellow frosting (kind of like cheese) with pepperoni dots over it.  In case that was not enough dessert for everyone I provided a cake pop selection that was decorated for fall.  No one could choose one or the other dessert so they had both.

Then Lois opened presents.  She got a kitchen towel that was decorated with morel mushrooms and several pair of pajamas.  Everything was very well received by the birthday girl.

Unfortunately our party was cut a little short because the young people all had to work the next day.  But that is the one of the best parts of having a birthday in November.  There's a holiday coming up soon and we have the excuse to get together again.
