Not Yet Winter Sights

We had a major snowfall on November 11 and it was not even officially winter yet.  Fortunately it was Veterans Day so the schools were already closed.  Mike insisted on going for a joy ride in it.  He wanted to drive his jeep for the first time in snow.

 A November Sunday morning sunrise.

The geese keep coming back or a new group drops by.  It took me quite a few tries but I finally caught this group after they finished bathing and before they took off.

We also had our first eagle sighting.  It was on Thanksgiving Day and Mike, Emily and I were on our way to town.  Mike stopped the car and I tried to get a picture with my IPhone but I was too far away.  I kept moving closer but eventually I must have got too close and our bird flew away.  Sorry to have disturbed her Thanksgiving feast.

Here is another animal sighting.  We caught this animal on camera after a gusty windy day.  Got to give him credit for keeping his hat on even if it is a little crooked.
