Kitty, the Dog?
photo captions by Mike Peterson

The following is a Text Thread that Mike sent to the family last Sunday around 4 pm while walking through the timber with our dogs Lilly, Frankie and Blackie.  Mike takes this walk nearly everyday for the main purposes of exercising the dogs.  Suddenly, he noticed a fourth four legged hiker.

Mike's comments are the captions under the pictures below.  Mike took these pictures and posted them on his phone so as to document this unprecedented event.

Kitty decided to join us on our walk.
Emily responded, "No way?  Did she go the whole way?"

The walk is in progress.  She's still here.

Suzanne responded, "She. Is. So. Perfect."

Still here.

Emily responded, "Wow she made it far!  This is so precious."

At the turnaround point, one mile in, she's still with us.
Back at the big hill, 1.4 miles and she is still with us.
Into the timber at the Y.  1.7 miles.

At the Y.

Heath said, "She thinks she's a dog haha."

Creek was guarded by Lilly (who is barking at Kitty), but Kitty eventually made it across. (By calling Lilly's bluff.)

She made it the whole 2 miles.

Suzanne commented, "It's like Homeward Bound."
