Construction Update #2

For the last two days the weather has been in the 40's during the day and low 30's at night.  Our construction crew has spent their days on the roof.  I'd say they have appreciated this weather except for one thing.  During the day as the ground thaws and the house eventually is surrounded by mud.

Mud isn't that big a problem in the front of the house with the stone driveway but it is in the back.  The construction crew wanted to roof the back of the house today but they weren't sure they could get the cherry picker to the back of the house without it getting stuck in the mud.  Fortunately they moved it early this morning before the ground had thoroughly thawed out.

Yesterday, our crew roofed the garage and both sides of the house.
They used the cherry picker that is still in the front of the house.

Early this morning they moved the cherry picker around back and finished the roof
across the back of the house.

As best I can tell, tomorrow the roofers need to move the cherry picker back to the front of the house and finish putting plywood on the roof above the center and front of the house.  We will see what happens next.
