Construction Update #11

Mike and I were in our new garage the other day and we found this hidden behind some small pieces of dry wall.

One half of our unfinished front door laying on its side in the garage.

The construction crew installed the front door yesterday as part of their effort to keep it warm inside the house.  However, it is unfinished so they wrapped it up again to protect it.  Fortunately, Mike was over there and took a picture before it was again encased in tarps.

Photo taken from inside the house.
The door had already been covered on the outside.
We also had another brick delivery yesterday.  Mike found out from Larry how many bricks it will take to cover the entire house exterior (whenever it gets warm enough to do so).  Want to guess?  Post a comment and I will let you know the winner.  Relatives of Mike's who live across the street (Frank and Lois) and our visitors from yesterday, Rose and Jerry, are exempt from this contest.  They also better not tell what they know.  There is a prize so send in your comments.

Yes, yes I would like to guess. Based on blog evidence I believe 4000 bricks were delivered to the job site. I believe Larry expects to use 3795 of those puppies.

Are we using Price is Right rules? If we guess too high are we disqualified?

Yes we are using Price is Right rules, that is, the closest guess without going over. However, don't worry, none of the guesses so far are even close to going over (hint hint)
