First Overnight Guest awards 4 stars
Marissa and her friend Eddie dropped by the farm on their way from Houston to Boston. Marissa is a high school friend of Emily's.
The timing of their visit was not ideal. Hotel Peterson (my new house) was not officially open for guests. Nevertheless, we did our best to make Marissa and Eddie feel welcome. Marissa said we succeeded. She would award us four stars.
Marissa was able to stay in our guest room on our guest bed with a real mattress and sheets. The only thing that was missing was the bedspread as that is buried in our storage unit somewhere and furniture. She said our new Casper mattress was very comfortable.

| Casper is a company that ships their mattresses in 20 by 21 by 41 inch boxes. When you take them out of the box they unfold to full size. We had to give this a try. |
Marissa had full use of bathroom facilities - a shower, sink and toilet. They were just not all in the same room. She had to use the sink in the laundry room, the shower in the downstairs guest bathroom and the toilet in the upstairs bathroom nearest the guest room. This is because the vanity tops are on back order and the plumber hasn't been back yet to hook up the kitchen sink or any of the other showers.
I really appreciate Marissa's enthusiastic endorsement of the Peterson residence but I think we will make some improvements before any other guests arrive.

Never let it be said that we don't know
how to show our guests as good time.

TV looks too small. Is there a bigger one in the man/dog cave?
