Mike's Birthday

One of Mike's favorite activities here at the pond

We had a party for Mike's 55th birthday.  Here is a picture of his presents.

Suzanne looked at this bunch of shirts and pointed out that Mike apparently isn't into wearing bright colors.  He wears black, gray, muddy brown and grayish green.  Of course, he is perfectly happy with this color scheme.  I couldn't believe it when he also received a rattle trap fishing lure as a present.  He gets hurt when he uses these particular lures.  But then it was accompanied by a fisherman's emergency medical kit so that made me feel a bit better.  

Even though we made Mike's favorite meal and served his favorite cake, I think what Mike enjoyed best was having his family all together at the pond.
