Hide and Seek with the Squash
I bought a 50 inch in diameter by 12 inch deep plant grow bag. I planted it with squash. Mike couldn't believe that I had this much space and I only put four plants in it. They were squash plants. This is what the bag looks like now. You can't even see the bag.
You also can't even see the squash. I have both yellow squash and zucchini in there. The zucchini are particularly hard to find. I have to walk around the entire grow bag and move leaves to find the squash. Usually I can't reach the squash that I find. I then have to walk around the bag again looking for another approach that allows me to cut out the squash without hurting the plant.

I don't know how much longer these plants will produce but I have a few problems. First I don't like yellow squash that much and Mike doesn't like squash at all. What am I going to do with all this squash? And secondly, will I be able to harvest all my zucchini and yellow squash crop before the pumpkin vines take over? The vines are already overrunning the raised bed sides and the pumpkin crop won't be ready until October!
